Friendly, helpful staff. Nice, clean rooms. A reasonable choice in the Restaurant and the food is good. The hotel itself is in a great location, just a short walk into the main shopping centre and down to Liberation Square.

How this place is only 2 star is ludicrous. Yes, a tad dated but I love it. Location, amenities, location 5 star. Nothing is too much trouble for any member of staff, from reception to the waitress in the dining room. But most importantly SPOTLESS EVERYWHERE.

We visited the Norfolk Hotel with a coach company and expected to be treated as a group. But no. We were treated as individual guests. What makes a good hotel are the staff. From the moment of check-in to the moment of check-out we were treated with courtesy, friendliness and a bit of humour thrown in. Thanks to you all.

The hotel was well presented and clean. Rooms were serviced each day, which has not been the norm in other hotels during Covid. The food was very good and our waitress was brilliant.

The hotel is close to the centre of St. Helier and it is only a short walk to shops, sea front, and bus station.

There was entertainment in the evenings. There were visiting singers but the quiz and bingo were run by the hotel – just another illustration of how enthusiastic they were.

So in short, I can recommend this hotel. Not sure how stars are awarded but this hotel is worthy of more than 2 stars. Thanks again to you all for a very enjoyable holiday.

Lovely hotel about a 10 minute walk from Liberation Square. Great breakfast. Superb service from all the friendly staff. An outdoor pool with large seating area. Thank you for the fan in the room, because it was hot when we stayed. Very comfy beds. Clean bathroom. 100% recommend. We will stay again!

Really friendly, well run, clean hotel. The restaurant was really good value and lovely food. Staff always happy to help. Rooms comfortable and serviced every day. Really well placed for seafront, town and bus centre, liberation square. Gorgeous Howard Davis Park next door too.

A fabulous friendly central hotel highly recommend very clean. Food and service 5* Anna our waitress was a star, management were fab and made our holiday. An island tour is a must well worth the money, the museums, the tapestries and the war tunnels loads to do.

Hotel was very well located for everything – restaurants, shops, harbour and bus station. The staff at the hotel were absolutely brilliant, so friendly and welcoming.

The decor is charmingly old-fashioned (I’m not sure that’s a style choice, more it just is old-fashioned!) but I rather liked that, as it reminded me of being a kid in the ’80s with pastel shades everywhere! The room was big and comfy, but had definitely seen better days – eg the curtains were hanging off the rails!

However, I think this is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. Absolutely everywhere was spotless.

A great hotel to stay at. Brilliant location, a short walk from shopping centre, restaurants and bus station. Great choice of meals at the hotel, and everything I had was good. Rooms are serviceable and clean.
